- The African Kingdoms Lumi (AKL) stimulus is issued by the African Diaspora Central Bank.
- The amount for each payment is AKL 6.26 and paid directly into the Swifin Account of each beneficiary. The stimulus is not convertible into any other currency, it can only be used on the Swifin Platform to pay for goods and services offered by other members. Neither is it redeemable in any other form. It is offered as an independent instrument of value exchange between participating members.
- The stimulus is to support individuals and businesses within Continental Africa and the African Diaspora during this difficult time of COVID-19. The stimulus payment amount of AKL 6.26 is paid on the 28th day of every month for 36 months starting from October 2020 until October 2023 .
