Trusted device activation

In order to confirm account changes and transactions online and on the mobile app you need to enter an Emailed One Time PIN (EOTP) on the confirmation page. The EOTP is sent in a confirmation email to your registered email address. However if you do not want to receive an email to confirm changes and transactions every time when using the mobile app, you can activate your mobile device as a trusted device.

Follow these steps to activate your mobile device as a trusted device

  1. Login on the mobile app and click the settings button on top left. This is shown next to the red tick on the screen below.

  1. Once on the settings page, click on “Make this device trusted” The button is shown next to the red tick on the screen below. This will open the EOTP delivery page

  1. Once on the EOTP delivery page, select “E-mail” and click next to display the EOTP confirmation page. Only the E-mail option will work. We will only use email to deliver the EOTP and NOT SMS. This is shown below.

  1. Once on the EOTP confirmation page, check your email to get the EOTP (this is the number shown in the email). Enter the code in the confirmation code box and click submit to activate your device as a trusted device.

After you complete this process you will no longer be required to enter EOTP to confirm changes and transactions as long as you are using the activated device. You may also be able to use the trusted device to confirm transactions online.
